About
Whether we know it or not, the most important thing to all of us is unlocking human potential. When we unlock potential in others, we surround ourselves with good fortune.
Unlocking human potential is the essence of Mahayana and sustaining this initiative is the essence of Vajrayana. This isn’t strictly evident in written history but it’s evident in the context of history. Search for the golden ages in the countries mentioned on the home page then investigate whether Mahayana or Vajrayana was present. It’ll take a while but you’ll find 65 centuries worth of golden ages. You’ll even find the two major events that brought a swift end of the phenomenon.
You’ll notice the limited use of the traditional language of meditation throughout the METAtation ecosystem. Like the word bodhisattva. In our modern world, we call this jargon, which hinders understanding, fosters exclusivity and encourages experts to relish the ignorance of bliss. While a light amount of jargon can be useful, too much hinders understanding, which makes us dependent instead of enabled.
Interpretations based on the context of history reveal what has happened. For example, the bodhisattva is often written as a selfless mentor. But, when we discover the bodhisattva has contributed to 65 centuries of golden ages, the context of history tells us the bodhisattva is a generous mentor who reaps the good fortune of being surrounded by liberated people. Calling the bodhisattva selfless shackles the bodhisattva, which is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
METAtation is a byproduct of studying meditative philosophy that began in the 1990s with the objective to understand the inner workings of meditation’s promise. When I shifted from maintaining the traditional language to using our modern language, the floodgates opened. This inspired me to look at the context of history and this opened another set of floodgates. This was when I understood the tradition of unlocking human potential. When I found the 65 centuries of golden ages, I uncovered the scale of the tradition.
The natural next stage of this tradition is to put it in motion again. When successful, we’ll be on our way to spark a global golden age that lasts to the end of time.
This ambition is what we all subconsciously desire. The moment when we take our first baby step toward unlocking human potential and we keep taking steps, we immediately begin sharing the benefits of what we sow. While a global golden age will take several generations to come to fruition, this approach is far more human than the alternative and it will take far less time.
